I've been meaning to phase out my use of disposable cotton face pads for a while now, and I think I've finally found an inexpensive and cute way to do so (Btw-I still love my Debutante Face Scrubbies, but they're better for cleansing than toning...and I buy reusable cotton pads primarily for toning) . The little face scrubbies I made as part of my recent giveaway are ideal for both cleansing and toning. The best part? They were surprisingly easy to make (which is good news for someone as uncrafty as I tend to be), so if you don't...
Remember the Debutante Face Scrubbies that were on my little Christmas list? Well, my sweet friend Jade got me a set of them in white! Overall, I'm a big fan. I've been using them to apply toner to my face, and since they're textured.. I actually feel like I'm toning and exfoliating at the same time. What a treat! I'm just gonna go ahead and warn everyone: this post is about to be a link fest. The pretty glass bottle that my Burt's Bees Vitamin E Body & Bath Oil came in has inspired me to buy more glass bottles for storing homemade health and beauty products. My friend Chuck told me about two really neat websites where I can find glass bottles for next to nothing (SKS Bottle & Packaging, Inc. & Sunburst Bottle Company), and I'm pretty pumped about it. The first two projects that I plan to fill some bottles...
I have tried several different toners in the past few years, but I usually ended up throwing them away or simply forgetting to use them when the bottle was still half full. I never really saw enough of a difference in my skin to continue using or purchasing them. But after buying and loving Karen's Botanicals Rehydrating Olive Oil Cleanser, I decided to give her toner a try. I wasn't really surprised when I ended up loving it too. The Melissa Rose Toner is for normal to dry skin. I was reluctant to try the Fennel Sage...
