I could use this time to talk about my previous extended absence, but I’ll save it for another post. Reviewing Lina Hanson’s dream of a serum seems like way more fun anyway, doesn’t it?
Ingredients (provided at linahanson.com)- rice bran oil, apricot kernel oil, argan oil, yuzu oil, vanilla oil, camellia seed oil, brazil nut oil, pumpkin seed oil, pink grapefruit oil, and avocado oil.
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens, petrochemicals, artificial fragrance, and silicone.
2. It’s cruelty-free and vegan.
3. It contains organic ingredients.
Product Description-“Global Body Serum combines ten of the world’s most powerful and exotic super oils that have been used and cherished by cultures all over the world for centuries, including Japan’s “Rice Bran Beauties”, Pakistan’s Hunza People, and Morocco’s Berber Women. These oils include Rice Bran, Apricot Kernel, Argan Nut, Yuzu, Vanilla, Camellia Seed, Brazil Nut, Pumpkin Seed, Pink Grapefruit, and Avocado.”
Performance– Let me count the awesome things that this serum does for and to my skin:
-It leaves it feeling incredibly, ridiculously soft and hydrated.
-Because it absorbs quickly, getting dressed immediately after application is no problem at all.
-It isn’t too heavy for sensitive areas like my chest and neck (or even my face), but it’s rich enough that one application daily is plenty.
Scent– The scent of this serum reminds me of an orange dreamsicle. In other words, it smells completely amazing. Fortunately, the scent lingers for a couple of hours after applying it. Can I just smell like this all the time? That’d be ideal.
Rating– The performance/scent of this product are top notch, but I’ll subtract a single point since the serum isn’t cheap. 9/10!
Would I purchase this item again? Absolutely!

And guess what, guys? Included with the Global Body Serum was the following information:
“To give back to and honor the planet, the Global Body Serum is set to launch on June 5, 2013- World Environment Day, with 15% of proceeds from June through August to be given to the international Rescue Committee.
As with all products in the Lina Hanson Beauty Around the World brand, the key ingredients used are produced by women’s cooperatives and farmers worldwide. These earnings help provide support for their communities.”
And FYI—today’s June 5th. Treat yourself and snag some of this lovely serum, why don’t you?
