photo credit: Dominique Godbout Danielle and I did a moisturizing egg yolk and honey face mask a couple of nights ago, and boy was it moisturizing! The dry patch of skin that had appeared on my upper lip (as a result of me blowing my nose constantly while I had a cold) completely disappeared. My grandmother commented on how pretty our skin looked the following day. We used two yard eggs and...

photo credit: srqpix Total Beauty is a great place to go for reviews of popular natural health and beauty product brands, but I tend to look elsewhere for skincare advice and the like, since they don't exactly specialize in natural products. For example, in the list that I'm going to tell you guys about, they link to both Aveeno and Lush products as store-bought alternatives. Neither of those brands...

A few nights ago, Danielle and I made a mask for our faces out of avocado, honey, and Dr. Teal's Oatmeal Bath Soaking Solution (which is much less messy/slimy than regular ol' oatmeal, by the way). It was an altogether pleasant experience. The mask was supposed to promote even skin tone, and I didn't see much of a result as far as that goes...but it made my skin soft like a baby's! We recently had a get together with Apple Cider and Pumpkin-Carving, and I've been pumped about fall and all things related ever since! It's probably obvious; I look like a giddy child in the picture above. As if I didn't have enough fall business to be excited about already, I just finished reading a fantastic article on Care2 that walks the reader through 11 ways to use a pumpkin! I can't wait to try making the Honey Pumpkin Exfoliating Mask, the Luscious Pumpkin Body Butter, and the Vegan...

I need to get a job stat! Otherwise, I'm going to spend all my money on pretty things from Etsy. Here are a few of my favorites (I'm loving yellows and golds right now; can you tell?): I wish that I had a birthday every month. I'm...

It's no secret that my cabinets have been overflowing with health and beauty products lately, but a girl can dream...can't she? Also, pay close attention to all the sweet ingredients you're about to encounter. The Answer's PMS Clear Facial Mask- I've yet to find anything that completely gets rid of pre-period breakouts. I guess this stuff could be the ticket. Ingredients- French green clay, Fullers Earth clay, green tea, and papaya extract.
