After an embarrassingly long break in Vapour reviews, I’m back today with a review of one of my very favorite products of theirs I’ve tried yet: their Stratus Instant Skin Perfector in all three shades.
Ingredients (provided at vapourbeauty.com)- “Organic/Bio Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Organic/Bio Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil, Silica, Organic/Bio Cera Alba (Beeswax), Lysine, Sambucus Nigra (Elderberry) Fruit Extract, Organic/Bio Lecithin, Organic/Bio Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil & Organic/Bio Lecithin & Organic/Bio Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil & Organic/Bio Papain (Papaya), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Essential Oils & Natural Fruit Essences, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Boswellia Serrata (Frankincense)*, Organic/Bio Ocimum Sanctum (Tulsi/Holy Basil), Organic/Bio Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Flower Petals *Wildcrafted”
Some great things about this product:

2. It’s cruelty-free.
3. It’s gluten-free.
4. It’s biodegradable and was made using wind power.

Price–$44 for a .56 oz. tube. Yeah, it ain’t cheap, but do me a favor and wait until you read about the performance before writing it off completely.
Performance– Oh, you guys. As someone who formerly refused to put anything even remotely resembling foundation all over her face, you can trust me when I say this skin perfector is legit. It’s nice and lightweight, so I don’t feel like I’m clogging my pores or look like I’m wearing a mask after I apply it. It makes me glow without making me look greasy, and I can’t seem to avoid being told that my skin is radiant when I’m wearing it (not that I’d ever try to avoid that). I find that following the tips for use provided on the Vapour website is a sure way to achieve the best results, but I’m sure you knew that. I received all three shades to review, and the Stratus 903 (pictured up top) is by far my favorite, which makes sense since I definitely have yellow/olive undertones. Below are pictures of me wearing each of the three shades (from top to bottom, respectively: 903, 902, and 904…pic 3 is pretty silly, I know)-
Scent– Fruity, pleasant.
Rating– 9/10, easy. I subtracted 1/2 a point for the two ingredients with hazard scores above 2 and another 1/2 a point for the price.
Would I purchase this item again? I would and will; it’s totally worth the splurge.
