Shear Miracles Beautiful Body Organic Body Butter Review

Organic Almond Body Butter

The Beautiful Body Organic Body Butter in almond is the last Shear Miracle Organics product I’ll be reviewing for a little bit, but you haven’t seen the last of this dreamy brand on T&J!

Ingredients (provided at “Organic Aloe Vera; Structured Vit. Water concentrate; organic shea butter; organic oils of: mission olive, coconut, sunflower, almond & grapeseed; organic herbal infusions of: billberry, neem leaf, calendula flowers, grapeseed extract; certified organic guar gum & gum arabic; organic essential oils of: almond & lime.”

This preliminary report I created for this product in the Cosmetics Database gives it a low hazard score of 2. The only ingredient with a hazard score above a 2 is gum arabic.

1. It’s free of parabens, sulfates, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, and artificial fragrance.

2. It’s made entirely of organic ingredients.

3. It’s cruelty-free.

4. It’s GMO free.

Product Description(provided at “A wonderful emollient body butter that is never greasy & will keep your skin soft & supple all summer long! Great after sun exposure!.”

Price– $19.99 for an 4 oz. tub, which isn’t all that bad since a little goes a long way with this stuff.

Performance– As I said above, this body butter is super rich so try not to overdo it. If the right amount is applied (preferably on damp skin just after showering), then you’ll have mega soft skin without any greasiness.  Use too much and your legs and arms might be a little slippery. Just keep in mind how much it costs, and using it sparingly should be a piece of cake. Either way, this product is a real lifesaver for dry skin. Talk about hydrating! I’m impressed.

Scent– A surprisingly enticing combination of almond and lime. I’m into it.

Rating– I’ll subtract 1/2 a point since it isn’t cheap. Still, 9.5/10 is easily earned.

Would I purchase this item again? Yep!

*I won this product, along with two other Shear Miracle Organics products, in an All Natural Beauty giveaway. Opinions provided by me.
