Before winning a few of Robyn’s products in a giveaway recently, I had never heard of Shear Miracles organic salon products. Boy, was I missing out! The Shear Miracles website boasts that their products are so pure you can eat them, and the leave-in conditioner I’ll be reviewing today is no exception. Now that’s impressive.
Ingredients (provided at shearmiracles.net)- “Distilled water; organic jojoba oil; organic olive oil; organic grape seed oil; organic apricot oil and organic evening primrose oil; certified organic plant source xanthan gum; organic essential oils of: rosemary and lemon.”
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens, sulfates, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, and artificial fragrance.
2. It’s made of entirely organic ingredients.
3. It’s cruelty-free.
4. It’s GMO free.
Product Description(provided at shearmiracles.net)- “A powerful blend of organic oils & vitamins combine in this all natural leave-in conditioner to restore strength, luster and nourishment to abused hair. Helps with detangling. Also, this makes a great “Next-Day” spray to revive your hair when you don’t need to wash it.”
Price– $19.99 for an 8 oz. bottle, but I have a feeling it’ll last me a pretty long while. Items in spray bottles tend to do that.
Performance– What is it about being on vacation that makes me love a good leave-in conditioner? Oh, it’s probably all the sun and chlorine damage to which my hair is exposed. Either way, I’ll definitely be using this product daily while I’m at the beach. It’s softening and hydrating without making my hair feel weighed down or oily, and I can easily use it on unwashed hair without overdoing it. I feel like it makes my waves more defined too, and I’m a huge fan of that fact. I like to spritz this stuff into the palm of my hand a few times and then apply it generously to the ends of my hair before combing from root to tip. Air-dried, blow-dried, or slept on, my hair usually ends up looking far better than it would have without the spray.
Oh, and here’s a picture of my hair a day after shampooing, conditioning, and following up with the leave-in spray (keep in mind: as awesome as this product is, it doesn’t change the fact that I’m in desperate need of a trim):
Scent– It smells like lovely, lovely lemons.
Rating– 10/10. What else?
Would I purchase this item again? Duh!
