I’ve been known to sweat like a man, so naturally I jumped at the chance to try Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal’s Spray Mist when they emailed me recently with an opportunity to do just that. Today my armpits and I will be sharing our thoughts on the mist.
Ingredients (provided on product’s label)- “Aqua (Purified Water), Natural Mineral Salts (Potassium Alum).”
This product receives a nonexistent hazard score of 0 in the Cosmetics Database. How do you like them apples?
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens, synthetic fragrances/perfumes, phenoxyethanol, and processed aluminum (i.e. aluminum zirconium and aluminum chlorhydrate—they clog pores and can enter our bloodstream).
2. It’s cruelty-free.
3. It comes in a convenient spray bottle. Unfortunately, I dropped mine/broke the spray nozzle and had to transfer the deodorant into a glass spray bottle I had lying around (pictured above), but it still works just fine.

Performance- If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, then you probably already know that my armpits are not the easiest to please. Some deodorants work well for a month or two and then suddenly stop, and most never work in the first place. Others work consistently but leave an unsightly rash. Still, I’ve been using this deodorant for a few weeks and so far, so good! This product prevents odors for hours at a time without breaking me out, and with a midday reapplication I can successfully make it through the day without the slightest hint of body odor. I’ll let you guys know if the performance suddenly changes, but for now I’m sold!
Scent- Is the absence of body odor a scent? Let’s go with that.
Rating- Because I’ve yet to meet a deodorant that works miracles in the all day protection department (without having to reapply, that is), I’ll subtract half a point. Still, this product’s ingredients, price, and still impressive performance earn it a 9.5/10.
Would I purchase this item again? Absolutely!
