Christina knew what she was doing when she bought me a stick of Jobacolors Eye Liner for my birthday. I’ve been putting it to good use!
Ingredients (provided at honeybeegardens.com)- “ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, ozokerite wax, ethylhexyl palmitate (vegetarian), simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, lanolin oil, beeswax, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, cetearyl alcohol (vegetarian), copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax. May Contain: black iron oxide, brown iron oxide, mica.”
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens.
2. It has a short list of recognizable ingredients.
Product Description(provided at honeybeegardens.com)- ”Enhance and define the natural beauty of your eyes with confidence. This smooth, jojoba-based formula won’t drag or pull delicate skin. Glides on gently and fluidly from the moment you open it. Easy to apply for a perfect, long-wearing look.”
Price– $7.99 for a 0.04 oz. stick.
Performance– I love how smoothly this eye liner goes on, and I love the smoky look it creates without having to smudge it. The charcoal shade took a little getting used to, since I’ve used black eye liner almost exclusively for several years, but I’ve found that I like it more and more with each application. It’s so subtle and dreamy! My only complaint is that I feel the need to reapply more often than I have in the past, but this isn’t nearly as much of a problem as it would be with a more expensive product.
Scent– Eye liner pencils tend to smell like wood and little else, and that’s true for this product as well.
Rating– 9/10. I subtracted 1 point since I wouldn’t mind a little more staying power.
Would I purchase this item again? I would and will, but I’d like to try Jet Set and Belgian Chocolate too. Since they’re so reasonably priced, this shouldn’t be a problem. Click the link for a peek at the color swatches!
