I am still sick, and it’s the worst. Something I forgot to mention yesterday, though, is a netti pot. As far as I’m concerned, a netti pot is the kind of thing that a sick person should always have within arm’s reach (specifically if your nose is stopped up and/or you’re suffering from a sore throat). For the past few days, I’ve been using my cheap plastic netti pot like it’s going out of style.
All this netti talk reminds me that I didn’t actually get the beautiful netti pot that I wanted for Christmas. To top it all off, when I went to check on my sweet little guy, he was sold out! Ho hum. It’s not the end of the world (nor is it the end of my absurd, gift-driven life), because I think that this netti pot (the one pictured above, if you’re not feeling linky) is even more beautiful. Maybe Kirby will get it for me for Valentines day. Romance and nasal irrigation go hand in hand, right?
