Today I’ll be reviewing the third and final product from Integrity Botanicals: Acure’s Rose + Red Tea Facial Toner. As you’ll see shortly, I’m just as fond of this toner as I am the other two products sent for my review. I’ll definitely be doing some online shopping through Integrity Botanicals in the future!
Ingredients (provided at integritybotanicals.com)- “Fair Trade Certified™ Organic Rooibos, Organic Calendula, Organic Chamomile, Organic Witch Hazel, Organic Bulgarian Rose Water (Hydrasol), (NOP Cert. Organic) Glycerin*, Organic Chamomille and Calendula Flower Extracts. ”
The preliminary report I created for this product in the Cosmetics Database gives it a low hazard score of 1.
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens, phthalates, & phenoxyethanol.
2. It’s cruelty-free.
3. It’s made using entirely organic ingredients.
Product Description(provided at integritybotanicals.com)- “Restore balance and minimize surface shine and excess oil without drying out your skin. This alcohol-free certified organic toner utilizes organic witch hazel and rooibos to help purify, stimulate and balance oil production while soothing redness and irritation. Organic vegetable glycerin moisturizes while organic rose, calendula and chamomile soothes, calms and restores skin’s protective layer. A toner helps to remove excess oil and any dirt or impurities left on the skin after the cleansing process. It also minimizes pores and promotes blood circulation, making way for better tone and texture, while preparing skin to reap the full benefits of serum or moisturizer. *For combination to oily skin types. Non-comedogenic.”
Performance- First, the fact that this bottle has a sprayer is super convenient and will almost certainly make this toner last twice as long (I tend to use much more toner when I’m forced to pour it onto a cotton ball or facial pad). Obviously, I’m a fan of this. This toner manages to get rid of any excess makeup left after cleansing without drying my skin. It’s also probably worth noting that my One Love Organics complexion booster (review to come) goes on beautifully after prepping my skin with this toner. I’m for it.
Scent- Smells like witch hazel and rose water to me. Imagine that!
Rating- No complaints from this broad: 10/10!
Would I purchase this item again? Yep.
