Danielle introduced me to an easy and tasty green smoothie a couple of months ago, and I've been hooked ever since. If you're interested in making your own, then just blend the following: 1 frozen banana 1 green apple 2 large handfuls of spinach 1/2 a cup of water or prune juice This little guy makes for a delicious on-the-go breakfast or post workout treat. I made a delicious smoothie recently, and the ingredients were as follows: 2 heaping cups of frozen mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries) 1 large banana, sliced 2 tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk 1/2 cup of freshly-brewed green tea 2 handfuls of organic spinach 1 serving of liquid vitamins (I was making enough for Kirby as well, but I was afraid that putting two servings of vitamins might make it taste like a flinstone vitamin).
