I've recently started carrying a travel-size bottle filled with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap in my purse. My 21st birthday was last week, and I was admittedly a little bummed out that I wouldn't be spending it with all of my close friends and family, but Kirby, being the swell guy that he is, made sure that it was a lovely day from start to finish. I've been swiping a little tea tree oil under my arms for the past few days with a cotton swab instead of using deodorant, and I think I'm going to make a habit of it. The strong scent (which is pretty reminiscent of licorice) fades within ten minutes, and it keeps my armpits fresh until nightfall. Last weekend I took a trip to Lake Charles, Louisiana with Kirby, Danielle, and Kyle.
