I am still sick, and it's the worst. Something I forgot to mention yesterday, though, is a netti pot. As far as I'm concerned, a netti pot is the kind of thing that a sick person should always have within arm's reach (specifically if your nose is stopped up and/or you're suffering from a sore throat). For the past few days, I've been using my cheap plastic netti pot like it's going out of style. Kirby gave me one of my Christmas presents early, and (with the help of my immediate family) I tried it out the night before last. It's a clear glass tea pot with loose tea infuser and 12 flowering teas! The twelve teas are all green tea with jasmine (which is my absolute favorite, by the way), but they all have a different flower that blooms when you pour hot water over it! That guy always knows just what to get me.
I frequently give myself lifestyle improvement goals and never meet them. It's something that I'm not proud of, but it has become a fact of my life. My 21st birthday was last week, and I was admittedly a little bummed out that I wouldn't be spending it with all of my close friends and family, but Kirby, being the swell guy that he is, made sure that it was a lovely day from start to finish. The product pictured above was another Christmas present for Kirby. He says that it's fairly moisturizing (which is pretty important since he has very dry skin in the winter months) and that he really enjoys the scent. It does smell great; it's a very masculine scent. I'm frequently tempted to use it, but I never follow through because I'm not sure if I would enjoy smelling like a man. I probably would.
