If you're anything like me, then you've yet to do all of your Christmas shopping.  Maybe some of the following items will give you an idea or two! Kirby would be pumped to receive any or all of these gems (no spoilers, but I actually got him one or two items on the list).

Buy it:

beer, combs, book, wax, shirt, soap.

I'm not so cool that I didn't have help finding these items. Shocking? Of course it is. I saw most of them on uncrate, and I tried/loved...

If the unthinkable happened and I were forced to own only a few personal care products...then I could probably successfully narrow it down to the following:

Baking Soda, Apple Cider Vinegar, Castile Soap, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Lavender Essential Oil.

What products can't you live without?

Also, if you haven't entered the mantra perfume giveaway then you probably should. ;...

Simple Homemade Dog Toothpaste

When Clementine and Winston ran out of their latest tube of store bought toothpaste, I decided to try and make their next batch to save a little money. I used a simple recipe that called for only salt, baking soda, and vegetable glycerin. I'll admit that I was a little worried they wouldn't like it since I didn't add any sort of meaty flavor to it, but they loved it just as much as their old expensive stuff! Maybe I'll treat them next time and pick...

Caitie's recent November Used It post inspired me to do one of my own. It's my very first, and it's a little late, but here I go anyway.

From Left to Right: Captain Blankenship Mantra Perfume Sample- I ran out of this dreamy sample almost immediately. After Jana heard about how much I liked this particular scent, she kindly offered to send me my own roll-on for free! My Christmas list just got a little shorter. Along with the dreamy Rusalka Bath Salt, Jana also sent me five vials of her hand mixed perfumes to try. My nose can be pretty finicky (fickle, too, at times), but I was surprised to discover three whole scents I'd be happy to own in the future. Ingredients (provided at captainblankenship.com)-  All scents are made from a blend of essential oils in biodynamic grape alcohol from California, with the exception of Phosphorescent, which is made from a blend of essential oils and absolutes in biodynamic grape alcohol from California. Some great things...

I get a milkshake newsletter every so often, and in one of the most recent ones I discovered a lovely little company called Captain Blankenship. After heading over to the very well-designed website to read about the products and their ingredients, I promptly emailed Jana and asked if she'd be willing to send me any samples to try. She said yes, and lucky little me waited patiently for their arrival. Today I'll be reviewing the Rusalka Bath Salt I received. Ingredients (provided at captainblankenship.com...
