Each year, around mid-October, I begin bookmarking/pinning items that will later find a home in my Christmas list. I might have gone overboard this year, but here it is anyway!

Health and Beauty:

Alexandra and Siobhan are kind of my idols.

Isn't this the dreamiest pair of polishes you ever did see?

I received a sample of this stuff recently (along with 4 other scents, reviews to come!), and it's pretty special.

For the Home:

My bedside table needs this atop it.

I can't resist a pretty tea set.

How cute are these toast coasters?!

It's impossible to go wrong with colorful birds and a bicycle.

Accessories:

The only thing I love more than traveling is traveling in style.

Maybe I'll ride my bike more if I can do it safely.

This tiny pinecone/pearl necklace is perfect.

These are just the right amount of fancy.

Clothing/Shoes:

I don't own enough blue clothing.

Oh God.

So, I obviously couldn’t wear yesterday’s dream outfit today since I didn’t/don’t own any of those things, but I put together what I think is a pretty perfect Thanksgiving outfit with some items I did have. This picture is actually from a last week, since I planned the outfit in advance, but I’m also wearing it today.

Can I just talk about this skirt for a minute? I won it in a give away on Melisa’s lovely Pie N’ The Sky blog a month or so ago, and I have already worn it too many times to count. It’s definitely the most fun skirt I own; just look at that hem! If you’re a fan as well then you should head on over to Valerie’s Etsy shop, Dottie Adele, because it’s full of equally dreamy items. Oh yeah, and you should probably check out her blog too!

Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! I have plenty of reasons to be thankful, but food, family and friends are definitely at the top of the list. : )

If money were no object, then I would own all components of the above ensemble. Don’t you think it’d make the perfect Thanksgiving outfit? Blazers are just the coolest.

P.S. Sorry the tights look a little janky around the feet. My Polyvore skills are nothing if not subpar.

Happy Thanksgiving eve! If you’re a holiday overeater like me, then you might be depriving yourself of adequate sustenance today so you can make a fool of yourself tomorrow. That’s normal behavior, right? Right.

Sarah from Ohhh Lulu… just started having a monthly promotion on her blog where she gives away 5 free ad spaces, and I was one of the lucky few to win one of this month’s spaces. I think it’s a lovely way to help small blogs and business get the attention they deserve, and I’ll likely take a page out of Sarah’s book once I get my ducks in a row.

Sarah also has an Etsy shop full of handmade bras, panties, and lingerie, and I’m smitten with just about every item in her shop. Lord knows I love a good sleep bra.

Brazilets

Have you guys ever heard of Brazilets? If you saw Eat Pray Love, then you might’ve noticed Julia Roberts wearing these bracelets. I hadn’t heard of them until recently, but I just received two free ones in the mail to try and subsequently blog about. You’re supposed to tie the bracelet(s) on with three knots, making a wish for each knot. The company also supports a project called Plant A Billion Trees that sees trees planted in Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest. Wishing on a bracelet may seem juvenile to some, but it never hurts to set goals and think positively. In fact, it can only help. I think it’s a really neat concept!

Spending money is fun at first.

I ordered some adorable and on sale shoes for myself today, and I can’t wait to wear them!

A piece of news that is more relevant to this blog, however, is that I also ordered some health and beauty product samples by brands that I rarely or never review. The brands are Lily Organics, evanhealy, The Answer For Skin, and Skin; the products will be tested and reviewed shortly after they arrive.

Etsy has an abundance of treats!

I need to get a job stat! Otherwise, I’m going to spend all my money on pretty things from Etsy. Here are a few of my favorites (I’m loving yellows and golds right now; can you tell?):

It almost seems silly for something that soaks up menstrual blood to be so pretty, but I'm smitten with these reusable pads from Naturally Hip's shop.

This golden netti pot from Page Pottery is way cooler than my plastic one!

Chasing Clouds' Etsy store has plenty of cool stuff that is reasonably priced, but this seaweed mask was one of the first things that caught my eye.

This headband from Tamar's Etsy shop is classy classy. I certainly don't need it, but I want it.

I wish that I had a birthday every month. I’m ridiculous.

Hair Business and Vacation Purchases

My beach vacation has been pretty fly thus far. I haven’t spent much time at the beach (because of the nasty water…oil spills are for the birds), but our Condo is sufficiently sweet. There’s a lazy river; how cool is that?!

I’ve been avoiding shampoo altogether this week and using baking soda in its place. I’ve been conditioning with Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner (and my hair has never looked better):

Aveda products tend to have preservatives in them, but they work sooo well.

My mom bought me some Time & Again Organics hand cream today at a cute little shop. It was seven dollars, and it smells like a dream:

This hand cream is paraben-free. It also has organic coconut, jojoba, and wheat germ oils in it.

The two following items having nothing to do with health and beauty, but I need the former (TOKYObay Sacchetto in Blue) and just purchased the latter (Mossimo Supply Co. Juniors Sleeveless Floral Dress):

This bag is almost too cute to handle. I love a tiny purse.

This dress makes me want to go on a picnic. I love Target.

I think Fitflops are too cool!

The Limited Edition Fiorella Fitflop in Bronze is my fave.

They’re not entirely aesthetically pleasing, and they’re not super cheap (from fifty to eighty dollars), but I can wear them while grocery shopping in place of ankle weights and not feel like a turd. I might just ask Kirby to hook me up with some of these for my birthday.

The Greenest List I’ve Ever Made

I’ve compiled a list of ten natural, green, and/or organic things that I wouldn’t mind having. My birthday’s in August. Har har.

I have a feeling that this stuff smells lovely.

1) Demeter Naturals Mimosa Perfume- Demeter Naturals fragrances are made from pure essential oils and have no Phthalates (put simply, Phthalates are chemicals that are intended to make scent last longer that are easily absorbed by our skin).

LunaPanties are made especially for period times!

2) LunaPanties-Basically, they have organic cotton pads sewn into them. The extra liner shown in the picture is for days with heavier flows. I could easily make something like this at home, but I love that they’re made with organic cotton (One day, when I’m wealthy, all of my clothes will be made from organic cotton). Of all of the nifty things on this list, these panties are the item that I’ll most likely buy. You should really check out the entire site. They have lots of cool things- rawganique

3. Sun Applique Dress- I need more casual dresses in my closet. An impressive amount of my dresses can only be worn to weddings.

How fancy would using a brand called Glam Nation make you feel?!

4. Glam Nation Organic and Wild-Crafted Eye and Makeup Remover Lotion- I typically use olive oil to remove my eye makeup, and it works just fine…but I read some great reviews on this product. Also, it has a zero hazard score on the Cosmetic Safety Database, and I like that.

I'm a sucker for pretty packaging.

5) Nothing Nasty Rose and Vanilla Lipbalm- Yeah, I know I’d be ordering it from the UK and shipping would be ridiculous…but this could be my new Minted Rose Lip Balm with better ingredients (another rating of zero, actually)!

I like this orangey shade of red A LOT.

6. Toms Red Newport Cordones- Everyone knows that Toms does good things for the world, and these shoes would do good things for my feet.

Painting my nails is a bad habit that I refuse to quit.

7. Zoya Matte Velvet Nail Polish in Veruschka- This has to be better for me than Sally Hansen, right?

It's made for babies and kids, but adults get nappy hair too.

8. Babo Botanicals Berry Primrose Instantly Smooth Detangler- Surprise surprise, it’s another zero.

Kiwi, pineapple, and passion fruit together at last.

9. Gold Machine Naked Juice- Putting juice on this list may seem silly since it is so cheap and easily attainable, but I can’t find this at any of the stores around these parts. If any of you guys have tried it, then let me know how awesome it was.

I have an obsession with animal necklaces. It hasn't become a problem yet.
