Cut Out for Fame Boots from Modcloth

Remember those boots from my  Christmas list? They made my toes want to throw up. Thus, I am returning them for store credit. With said credit, I will be purchasing the following:

The spout of a Neti Pot is more than slightly phallic.

Thanks to this little guy, my nostrils and the surrounding area have never felt less blocked. Kirby has terrible allergy problems, and he said that he could breathe better than he had in years after using it the first time. In case you’re unfamiliar with Neti Pots, they are remarkably easy to use. You just tilt your head forward and to one side. You pour the warm water, salt, and baking soda solution in the nostril that is facing the ceiling. The solution will eventually come out of the other nostril, along with a disturbing amount of snot (if you’re me and/or lucky). If your nose is completely stopped up, then wait until it isn’t to try it out.  Read the instructions that come with the product; I may have been negligent. I’m not a doctor. Check out your friendly neighborhood Walgreens, or probably anywhere for that matter.

At the risk of seeming self-involved, I bought myself something today. I know Christmas is almost here and it’s the season for giving and shit, but I have almost all of my Christmas shopping done (and it was a total deal!)

I've had my eye on a bag similar to this (and twice as expensive) at a local boutique for months now.

I am pretty into how thin it is.

I do not support keeping birds as pets, but I still think bird cages are beautiful.

I usually think jumpers are ridiculous. This is an exception. Also, this is sleepwear.

The rug that is currently in our bathroom is ratty as hell.

I love anything that keeps my head warm.

I also love anything that keeps my feet warm. My feet stay cold.

This alarm clock has the potential to be more reliable than my cell phone.

This door knob curtain tie-back is real fancy.

I like curtains that are less functional than they are cute.

Yeah, it's gaudy. I know.

I don't usually wear anything outside of eye makeup, but special occasions call for looking not haggard.

I thought these were ugly at first. I had a change of heart.

I think these are classy.

I like birds.

My friend Selena has a tiny grey purse. Seeing hers influenced my decision to get one.

Before buying these, I only had one pair of heels that I wore to weddings (I’m tall; don’t judge me.) Now that I own two pair, the possibilities are endless.

I spent more money on this shirt than I am proud of and certainly more than I am comfortable disclosing. Also, it’s dry clean only. What an inconvenience.

The fun thing about blogging is that it gives me a false sense of importance. Everyone obviously cares about the things that I buy. Why wouldn’t they?
