Today’s review is of Priia Cosmetics Mineral Matte Eye Shadow in Just Peachy, which is number 4 out of my 6 free samples. I’ll be back with my review of the Mineral Satin Shadow in mint leaf and on Monday!
Ingredients (provided at priia.com)-”Mica, Boron Nitride, Kaolin, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide. May Contain: Ultramarines, Chromium Oxide Green, Tin Oxide, Manganese Violet.”
The preliminary report that I created in the Cosmetics Database gives this product a low, low hazard score of 1. None of the ingredients have hazard scores above a 2.
Some great things about this product:
1. It’s free of parabens, retinyl palmitate, bismuth oxychloride, talc, nanoparticles, FD&C dyes, lakes, carmine, synthetics and petroleum by-products.
2. It’s cruelty and gluten-free.
3. It’s 100% vegan.
Product Description(provided at priia.com)- “These special eye colors are specifically formulated to be matte but never flat. Highly pigmented, they are soft and silken to the touch, glide on with ease and will not irritate the sensitive eye area.
Ranging from the lightest pastels, to deep, smoky earth hues that can be used wet as an eye liner or dry for shadow or brow powder. Our Mineral Matte Shadows offer wonderful staying power yet still look natural and soft.”
Price- Get a free sample or a full size product (5 grams) for $7.50.
Performance- I requested this sample because my eyelids have a tendency to look uneven and sometimes greasy. I previously used Alima Pure’s Backstage to even things out, but I’m running low on that dreamy little guy. I tried using concealer in its place, but that results in too many creases for my liking. Luckily, this product evens the tone of my eyelids and keeps the oil at bay beautifully and subtly. Happy day!
Check out my review of Priia’s creme mineral foundation to see my lids + this lovely shadow.
Scent- very faint, if any at all.
Rating- 10/10.
Would I purchase this item again? Sure!
*I was in no way compensated for reviewing Priia Cosmetics products. The free samples I mention are free to everyone, and I paid a small shipping fee just like any other customer. : )
