Made From Earth Aloe Vera Skin Treatment Review

Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment

Below is my review of yet another lovely, complimentary Made From Earth product I’ve been using. Spoiler alert: A jar of this Aloe Vera Skin Treatment might be part of a giveaway I’m announcing on Wednesday!

Ingredients (provided at Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Rooibos Tea Extract, Emulsifying Wax NF, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Olive Oil, Palm Stearic Acid, Organic Jojoba Oil, Avocado, Witch Hazel, Vitamin E, Black Willowbark Extract, Rosemary Oleoresin, Neem Oil.

I couldn’t find this product in the Cosmetics Database, so I’ve linked to each ingredient above. The only ingredient with a hazard score above a 3 is Emulsifying Wax NF, and it earns a hazard score of 4. Additionally, there is no data on Vegetable Glycerin or Palm Stearic Acid, and Black Willowbark Extract couldn’t be located in the database.

Some great things about this product:

1.  It contains organic ingredients.

2. It’s cruelty-free.

3. It’s free of parabens.

4. The jar is #1 plastic and can easily be recycled.

Product Description(also provided at”This Aloe Vera Skin Treatment should be used for healing the skin from the effects of daily sun exposure. It is the most potent and natural form of aloe vera you can buy in a jar. Deeply moisturizes skin, while the aloe releases enzymes and natural vitamins into your skin. Treatment is recommended for use two to three times per week.”

Price– $14.99 for a 2 oz. container.

Performance– I know the description suggests using this product a mere two to three times a week, but I’ve been using it twice a day as a face and neck moisturizer and I’m loving the way my skin looks (in the morning by itself and at night on top of a Made From Earth Serum that I’ll be reviewing tomorrow. It calms any redness or irritation I’m experiencing and hydrates my skin without making it look too shiny. This treatment is slightly thicker/heavier than a serum, but it’s not as rich as a cream. It’s ideal, actually. I was a little worried that my skin might go crazy when I switched over from the previous moisturizer I’d been using, but my skin is as clear as  it has ever been.

Scent– Overall, this product doesn’t have much of a scent. I can smell a little aloe and maybe a little avocado, but it’s pretty light and might be best described as refreshing.

Rating– 9/10. I’m subtracting one point for the ingredient with a hazard score above a 3.

Would I purchase this item again? Absolutely I would!
